The Missing Piece

The Missing Piece is produced from Shel Silverstein’s story of the same name, which explores a character's process of integration as it searches for its missing piece to become complete. The work is created by dividing the original text into pieces and restitching them in a randomized order. This process disrupts the linear flow of the text, creating a structural transformation.

Eksik Parça, Shel Silverstein’ın kendisini tamamlayacak parçasını arayan karakterin bütünleşme sürecini konu alan aynı adlı hikayesinden üretilmiştir. Çalışma, orijinal metnin parçalara ayrılması ve rastlantısal bir sıralamayla yeniden dikilmesiyle oluşturulmuştur. Bu süreç, metnin lineer akışını bozarak yapısal bir dönüşüm yaratır.
